ARMATEK Custom Lures Engineering is an Italian enterprise based on the research and development of innovative technologies and products in the field of artificial lures. The core of the system is the PhD Giulio Fait, a Bioengineer specialized in Aquaculture and Fisheries. All ARMATEK's production is based on his scientifical knowledge and passion for design and lure building.
Our Team
ARMATEK Custom Lures Engineering relies upon few friends for field testing in different fishing environments and on different species. Their unvaluable help is constituted by constructive criticism and suggestions that are extremely useful for thel development phase of each lure.
Waterborne Design
ARMATEK Custom Lures Engineering is the result of a fusion between passion for fishing and scientifical knowledge. Artificial lures come alive from an idea born on the water, in order to face particular environmental conditions and to catch fish where other lures failed. Inside the laboratory, the idea is translated into design, based on the selection of the best materials and on the development of the characteristics necessary to achieve the final target. Every single lure is hand-crafted into a master piece. Starting from the master, a mold is obtained in order to replicate the object. Then, to deeply investigate the lure performance, a long lasting, hardy field-testing procedure will take place. Only a constantly successfull lure will rise as new product. Basically, our final judge is always fish.
Customerization
In our opinion, every angler should rely upon a lure with a personal imprinting within. For this reason our lures are based on customerization: every angler will be involved in the design of the lure according to his own needs and requirements.
In few words, our customers become Prosumers : both producers and consumers.
It's our consciousness that, at least in the beginning, everybody will be afraid to make some mystakes in the design phase, especially in the case of complex lures like wirebaits (spinnerbaits and buzzbaits). In order to easily promote products knowledge and design, besides Custom lures, Armatek has developed a Ready Made line of products.
Ready Made : tuned by Armatek and fitted for the technique they are specifically oriented. Some custom characteristics may be present. Be careful: the name sounds tricky but they are produced on demand and characterized by extreme quality standards.
Custom : assembled under specific Prosumer's requirements. All components characteristics are described inside the Catalog that also shows some helpful examples. The Catalog should be used as a necessary guideline to design the lures You have dreamed about, able to completely satisfy Your own, personal desires.
