The Jika Rig is an interesting rigging option that can be very effective not only when used on the bottom but also hanging the lure on obstacles or obstructions thanks to the free-floating action of all the components.
The 6 grams version is characterized by a slim and elongated shape that easily adapts to different environments:
• Rocky areas
• Weedy areas
• Submerged vegetation
The 9 grams version is more compact and shaped in order to increase the rig penetration in weedy areas.
Use the #4 (30lb) split-ring included to connect the rig to Your favorite hook. I strongly suggest to use an offset hook for STXs and the H-Craw while an EWG hook will be the best choice for bulky lures.
