Maze Flippin' Hook

The Maze Flippin' hook was designed to withstand heavy braided line use and the toughest of conditions. The Nor-Tempered™ high carbon steel wire permits a smaller hook wire diameter for increased penetration and the Opti-Angle Needle Point will stay sharp longer than other hooks. The eye is epoxy closed to prevent line damage and knots from slipping out. The bait keeper is meticulously tied onto the hook shank and clear coated to prevent sliding or spinning. The hook shank is 1X long and for this reason is the best choice to rig elongated soft baits like stickbaits, worms and swimbaits.

The Maze Flippin' Hook is without any doubt the best choice for flipping soft stickbaits and worms in the range of 5 to 9 inches.

In the case of extra large soft baits (e.i. a 7" STX) I strongly suggest to embed the hook inside the bait for increased holding power and snag-proofness, as shown in the picture. Don't hesitate to use the same set-up for skipping under heavy cover: the hook and the soft bait will naturally behave as they were a single and inseparable entity.
